Disaster Relief after the Mpila Munitions Depot Explosion on 4 March 2012

Evergreen Holding Group and MagIndustries, including its subsidiaries in the Republic of Congo (MagMinerals Potasses Congo, Eucalyptus Fibre Congo, and Potasses du Congo), were saddened to learn the news of fire and series of explosions occurred on Sunday, March 4, 2012 in the MPILA munitions depot in Brazzaville, causing significant amount of casualties, injuries, and property damage.


Under painful circumstances, on March 19, Evergreen and MagIndustries donated 7.8 tonnes of materials from China to the Republic of Congo to help with disaster relief under the witness of Her Excellency Mrs Emilienne RAOUL, Minister of Social Affairs, Humanitarian Action and Solidarity, and His Excellency Mr. Shuli LI, Ambassador of China to the Republic of Congo.
